The Nevada County Narrow Gauge Historical Model Railroad (aka NCNG), affectionately known as the "Never Come, Never Go," is an On3 gauge (similar to HO) replica of the railroad that ran from Nevada City via Grass Valley to Colfax from 1876-1942. Its primary purpose was to transport the thousands of tons of gold-bearing quartz extracted from the numerous mines in the area to the rest of the world.
